Canadian Government Potentially Reverses Usage Based Billing

Earlier this week I wrote about the Canadian Governments approval of a CRTC rule implementation that allowed Canadian ISPs to impliment usage based billing. Now in a thankful turn of events, the government is rolling it back, and hopefully ending usage based billing.

Looks like the future of the internet in Canada may be bright after all, and hopeful usage based billing won’t catch on anywhere else, either.
