Ahh, college. As you may or may not know, i’m slowly uploading my complete photo archives to flickr.. In the process, i’m getting to check out all sorts of random/lost photo sets. Just found these from me and Steve’s little roadtrip to mexico.

Having spent the previous day skipping class to snowboard in Vail, Steve and I woke up Friday morning and decided it would be a good idea to skip another day of classes and drive to Mexico.
Friday mornin we woke up and got in my car, a ’95 Toyota 4Runner with around 100,000 miles on it. We drove through outlet stores, Garden of the Gods Colorado Springs, CO, Albuquerque NM, Santa Fe NM and finally El Paso TX. We arrived friday night, parked in the lot of a comfort inn, and spent the night in the back of my 4Runner. Next morning, Saturday, woke up, ate the free continental breakfast at Comfort Inn (we were kind of guests…), and walked over the border to Juarez, Mexico. Spent the day walking around, ate some lunch, drank some beers, bonded with locals. Saturday night we drove to Hueco Tanks TX, and then made a b-line for Roswell NM. Sunday we woke up bright and early on the side of the highway outside of Roswell and rolled into town. Spent Sunday in Roswell talking with locals about sightings etc, at with some local Aliens, viewed them in their natural habitats, and then drove back to Boulder. We were back in Boulder by midnight, and woke up for class Monday morning. In all, a decent weekend.
